I've always thought those open toilets in some CCs are cool.
With like plants and open tops, like natural habitat, pee also more smooth. Like your natural instinct like that. hahaha!

First up, introducing the Driver!
Standing at not a significant height, and weighing a not so well known weight.
He give the seasoned drivers a run for their money.
Driving at a constant dangerous speed above the limit by 20kmh or so, he arrives at destinated locations ASAP, regardless of whether he gets lost in the process or not.
Known for making the passengers on the lorry clean his deck for him, he'll do a speed turn, speed up, jerk break and speed up again to finish up his lorry-cleaning process.

Of course, his P-plate is still up there, shining brightly.

Next up, the emo-passenger, made to do the lorry cleaning after the orange juice spills.

When Darren and I looked at how we eat Oreo, it was observed that I split them before eating, Darren takes smal bites. Turning to WeiYang, his Oreo is long gone, he can only smile at us while trying his best not to open his mouth, or the oreo might just pop out.

Time for some emo album cover shots. I am in the mood for it anyway.

Alright. Forgot to say that we were part time construction workers for that day. Back to work. You can't see Kok behind the sign clearly, he's actually quite keen to start work.

okay. we started our day with an ordinary sunday morning ytd. Last night, brothers meet out again for our first soccer match long after the world cup. I meet up wid jun after work and rushed back to sbw. Big thanks to darren that provided the car. So, no need to bring wrx, evo lancer, rx8 out; save some parking coupons as well.

We made our way to S21 abruptly. The famous kopitam that has this big 41" LG plasma tv. The crowd wasnt that jialet. Maybe its a sunday night ba.. Jun was disappointed. Little Red Riding Hood wasnt there upset the brotherhood. The game commenced at 10pm. Before the game, we made our punter tips. Jun= 1-1. me(kok) = 2-0 chelsea win. zi xian= draw or liverpool win can liow cos he bet. shh.. Unexpectedly, Liverpool emerged as the winner wid a 2-1 victory. Zi xian got his winnings! Congrats. We left S21 for chong pang nasi lemak. The real chong pang nasi lemak is located near the khatib camp. NOT THE HUP LEE ONE( Beside the Posb atm). The variaty of food available there is well-spread. From sambal sotong to curry vegetables, really make u drool la.. If you are sick like me, can try the Chee Chong Fan. $3, they give u one long long piece with the fillings of ur choice( Prawn, Char Siew, Mushroom, *forgotten). Darren beo something blueish and shout kan loud. LOL. We kept to ourselves la.. We ta pao-ed and left for sembawang park.

Sembawang park, just a 5 mins drive down. This ulu park is a perfect spot for couples to hanky panky. We found a table and eat quickly. The atmosphere there is great just that got mosquitoes. tsk. We chi chat and took a walk around.. The shipyard is kinda beautiful with majestic ships anchored there.. around 2am, we made our way back. Every park we went, theres sure taxi drivers wid their lover making out in the toyota crown.. wooooot.

The swinging singles had fun on National Day.

Making everything go heavily black-peppered.

And a tower out of cups and cans. The price of these are damn exorbitant.

Very huge thanks to Brother Darren for the lorry, getting lost and finding our way around was like a way of life on National Day 2006. haha!

First, Darren went to Tampines St 21 Blk 207 when I was at Pasir Ris St 21 Blk 207. What a freaking coincidence that both St21s had block 207.

Then off we went for a job interview at Cafe Swiss, under good old Nicholas's introduction.
Snails.

Steamboat was the highlight of the day, we had fun looking out for 'seasoned-steamboaters', 'zhao-geng' was darren's favourite and girls. -.-"

After that, we had to get lost several times, first around Bugis area looking for a shell station. Had to call darren's friend, Warni to ask for help to get to that shell station. Woohoo. Talking to his friend and giving him directions at the same time. Not to mention that she helped me get to know where the National Dental Centre is. Muahaha! I asked Darren to give her a kiss for me.

After that, we got lost at Kallang due to a mistake. Sims Way or is it Sims Ave, which is where the Kallang MRT is, is a one way street. We took the wrong entry and ended up on the Expressway. The situation was rather desperate and we had minds to ask Benedict go home first, cause we might not even find out way back. haha!
But I called my Godpa, and the same thing, I talk to him and give directions to Darren at the same time. We managed to make out way back to Kallang through all the never-before-known small roads, and even through Geylang.

Still, mission accomplished in the end. Nice one Darren.

And ya darren, my godpa said to me : "Eh, your friend drive so fast not afraid kena caught ar?"
"How you know?"
"Guaged from that night la, at least got 80kmh ar..."

National Day Celebrations!

Yo say~ bros,

National day is coming up yet again. We came out with some plans. Here it goes...

On the 8th Aug, we are staying over at either kok siong's place or my place to mahjong/game whole night. Entry is free! Just keep volume down, hungry ghost festival. =D

Then, the next day.. 9th Aug,
meeting up during afternoon and we make our way to marina south. Steamboat for dinner, together with fireworks. must choose good positions, so we have to try to be early.

After steamboat, look for ben and pick him up from national stadium, then... go find ghost?

These are just some suggestions. Any better suggestions, leave comments!? Hope everyone can make it.
Bring gf join us, we also don't mind. but..i don't have one..=( GOL.

In August, 2 of our bros are having their birthday!
There is no first or second, cause both of them fall on the SAME date! Omg.!

Yesterday morning recieved one message from Darren saying that he got his licence already. Of cos happy for him lah. Lol. Waiting for JunJun to pass and get his licence too. AHAHA!

Phoned JunJun after sch and found out tat Darren is going to NYP to fetch Kok siong home. Thus i decided to tag along and witness Darren's driving . It's his first time driving with passenger WITH a licence so this is the 'virgin' tat is on the title.

Not bad. 80km/h. Steady~ (100%) But... unable to stop in time when its red light and see 'girl' until forgot to watch the traffic. WTH! (80%) but earned back 20% after i got off. That is moving the car when Kok siong is alighting. Lol! (100%) I still have to spend many years riding bicycle. Sighs~~~

Now , waiting for 9th August National Day ! Hopefully Darren can get a lorry =/ and then come and fetch me at National Stadium. Can save my transport fee. Whahaha. Waiting for you ~!~! I'm waiting for you~!!!!~

Do you know why New Changi Hospital (NCH) changed its name to Changi General Hospital (CGH)?

Because NCH stands for "Never Come Home". That's why business was very bad before it changed its name. Now CGH stands for "Can Go Home". So business is picking up.
Business in Singapore General Hospital (SGH) is still going strong because SGH stands for "Sure Go Home"!

Now National University Hospital (NUH) is also considering a name change. It stands for "No Use Hospital"!

What about Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH)?

Not too good a name, no wonder so much problem.

It stands for " Tiam Tiam Si Hospital " and now 'Tan Teo SARs Hospital ".

So, be careful of choosing which hospital to go ifanyone is unwell.

The Great Zizou (Zinedine Zidane)

Zizou has officially announced his retirement after playing his last game in the world cup finals on the 9 July'06 against Italy. How ever he ended his career in, he will still be remembered by many fans & kids around the world for gracing the footballing world with his skills and techniques. Lets wish zizou all the best after his retirement from football. =)

World Cup Fever Ends..

Okay now my turn to blog.
Alfred was unavailable as he was busily playin wid rabbits...Tsk
On a rainy cloudy sunday evening.. We went SengKang to eat Ya Kun at 9pm! The timing is abit siao for soft-boiled eggs and kaya toast. Other than Ya kun, darren had his reasons why..

Much later, Brothers came over to my place to catch the finals for world cup. At 10pm, we played mahjong. Mahjong was fun when u win money but not TOKENS!!! Nevertheless, we clocked 4 hours with Darren emerging as the winner.(won 100 over wor..)

At 2 a.m we settled down to watch lorr.. I shall leave the comments to the Brotherhood about the game. As usual, the game dragged to extra time and even penalties. We saw what Zindine did; it was pretty similiar to what happened to us 3-4 years ago.. lol. Darren was busily working on couple of projects. Roughly around 5.30am, we played daidee. DONT WANT TO SLEEP YET! (",)

Ermm..Din realizing i was surrounded by pros. i was a noob in daidee but still manage won several games. So at 6.30a.m, we left. Some headed to dover, some headed to lala-land and im in Yio Chu Kang doing blogging. Btw, tonight theres Soccer. Details is found in the entry below la.

07/07/06 - A Night of The Beautiful Game; Always Remembered.

Friday night is often one of the nights when we will have our soccer training, however, without our star defender, alfred though.

Initially it was just like any other nights where we will just assemble at the court together and play with the teams there with the "winner in, loser out" 7-aside format. Just before everyone of us was there, there was this chinese team which we never played before. When all of us were there, we took the initiative and ask to challenge them with "3 goals winner in, loser out(first team to score 3 goals wins). " They agreed and we got started.

Chinese team as usual, are often very hardworking and chase for every ball. We were often under pressure whenever we were in possession. It took us quite some time before we finally broke the deadlock when adib's low cross into the penalty area was deflected into the goal by their defender. Afterwhich, it became easy for us as their morale starts to drop and their weary legs pushed them to their limit. We pushed them further with Wilfred and Darren's commanding presence in the defence, the energetic support from our flanks, Joel and Joseph repectively, the well-build and yet pacy centre midfield Adib and excellent positioning and finishing lone striker, Zi Xian and last but least the good handling and readiness of the game by benedict as our goalkeeper. Soon their defence was spread open at the right flank with joel combining with adib and scrambled the ball into goal. The final goal came just a few mins later with zi xian capping his first goal for us, finally.

The next team we faced is a malay team. They are fast but were outwitted with the superb combination of adib and zi xian to finish them off, 2 goals came quickly and next malay team played us. With the superb defense of wilfred and darren, no goals were conceded and once again, the forwards of joel, adib, joseph and zi xian combined well to score. When confidence running at an all time high, Darren came forward and knock in a perfect diagonal pass from zi xian into the far corner for the winning goal. After that we faced the previous malay team we played in the second game.

This time round, they knew our tactics well and gave us a hard time. Our morale suddenly reached a very low point as we can't string most of our passes together. Passes were intercepted and defence were under lots of pressure. Our tired legs added up to our problems as concentration starts to fall. We were dealt a serious blow when they went a goal up after a series of passes at our left flank and delivered a cross to the far post for an easy tap in. Thats the first goal we conceded. We couldn't find our momentum and misses in front of goal were pulling us down. Then the time came when the always-inspiring darren brought the ball to the right flank and fire a shot towards goal from far for the equaliser. It's just magical and the team soon went a gear up and push for the winning goal. The winning goal came very soon when darren lay the ball to adib at the right flank, adib brought joel through down the right flank, with darren calling for the ball in the middle, joel squares it, and up came Wilfred with a blast into the far corner.

A very emotional celebration came soon after that with the whole team celebrating together. Wilfred finally broke his goal-less curse and scored the winning goal. Soon our next few games become easy with Zi xian scoring freely and become our team's top scorer, adib with the team's top assist. Wilfred solid performance at the back was further improved with well-delivered long balls to the forwards. Darren ventured forward and scored a sensational individual goal from far again which hit the goal pole and went in. Adib closed his goal scoring account after meeting a cross from right flank and nod it into goal through the legs of the goalie. Joseph made the night with a few brilliant telling runs down the left flank and benedict who take over joel at right flank nearly opened his scoring account. Our last game and goal came when a long ball from joel was brilliantly controlled by zi xian and volleyed into the back of the net.

It was a night where we won the respect of our opponents and lots of praises from them because of our teamwork. However, just a reminder for all of us not to be complacent and still play hard, respect our opponents.

Alright guys, other than soccer, lets kinda update each other on our lifes.

Trainings, relationships and everything under the sun, or where the sun don't shine also can.

I've just finished my second dragonboat fitness test, quite a good improvement since the first time i joined, and of course, since the previous fitness test.
Right now, I'm awaiting selection into team. Hope my past bad track record with DB does not affect my selection chances.

School is alright. Got to know this nice girl in class. haha!
